Gameplay Teaser

Gameplay.

Greetings, dear Subscribers, today we would like to present to you a rather large volume of new content.

The following is the first ever actual gameplay footage!

Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of it all:

Firstly, we have reworked the lower UI panel. It is now much more practical and easier to use. Soon, we will showcase how the Inventory works and how it interacts with the lower panel.

Secondly, weapons in the hands of the player. We have decided to remove any kind of crosshairs in the middle of the screen to make the gameplay slightly harder and interesting. Additionally, we have developed a large selection of both firearms and melee weaponry that would be enough for all the classes in the game.

Thirdly, interactions with objects and buttons will be followed with an animation. Some objects can be collected and used inside the Inventory or the lower panel of the UI. When aiming at an object, you will be able to see an image of it, as well as its volume.

Fourthly, rooms with obstacles. Besides rooms infected by SCP-009 and SCP-610, we should also mention rooms filled with gas. Key difference of such rooms is that they can be traversed without protective gear if the player rushes through them. If the player fails to do so, they will slowly choke and die. If a player equips a gas mask, they can stay in the gas filled room for longer and explore them.

At the end of the gameplay footage, the player gets into the Warhead Control chamber, the purpose of which is to activate a warhead and detonating it. For this to happen, the player must have the “Knowledge of the Code”, as well as have the Detonation Key. The “Knowledge of the Code” is present in some of the playable roles. The Warhead Control chamber is protected by a Vault Door that can be closed and opened from within, as well as blown up from outside
